These terms govern your use of Masked Verdict ("the game"), a free, offline, pass-and-play party game for iOS. Please read them before playing.
Acceptance
By downloading, opening, or playing Masked Verdict, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.
License to Use
You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Masked Verdict for personal, non-commercial entertainment on devices you own or control. You may not rent, sell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialize the game.
No Purchases or In-Game Currency
Masked Verdict is a free party game with no real-money purchases, no subscriptions, and no in-game currency. Saved rounds, troupe stats, rosters, and masks are gameplay records only — they have no monetary value and cannot be bought, sold, transferred, or exchanged. They may be reset if you clear them in-game or delete the app.
Offline & On-Device
The game runs entirely on your device with no accounts, no internet connection, no servers, no advertising, and no third-party analytics. Everything you create stays on your device. How your information is handled is described in our Privacy Policy.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, tamper with, or attempt to extract the source of the game, and not to copy, modify, or redistribute the app or its contents. Masked Verdict is a social game meant to be played respectfully among the people in the room; you are responsible for the prompts and answers you share aloud.
Intellectual Property
Masked Verdict and all of its art, characters, audio, text, and code are owned by the developer and protected by applicable laws. This license does not transfer any ownership of the game or its content to you.
Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
The game is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the game.
Children
Masked Verdict is family-friendly and suitable for a general audience. It requires no personal information to play.
Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version will always be posted here with its effective date, and continued use of the game means you accept the latest version.
